English 1 - District Test

Every so often, we must give a district-mandated test that covers the material that should have been learned so far.  Today was one of those days.  We spend most of the time taking the test.  Tomorrow, we'll hopefully see how well we did and what areas need improvement.

Tomorrow, we will begin Of Mice and Men officially, as a class.  I hope to have at least the first chapter covered before we go to Salinas this Friday.

Homework/Reminders
  • Bring Of Mice and Men tomorrow
  • Bring your Grade Report, signed
  • Final draft of your story is due on Thursday

Will we get a schedule for the trip before Friday or will you post some more information so that we know what our children will be doing? Sounds like there will be alot of free time?
