English 1 - District Test

Every so often, we must give a district-mandated test that covers the material that should have been learned so far.  Today was one of those days.  We spend most of the time taking the test.  Tomorrow, we'll hopefully see how well we did and what areas need improvement.

Tomorrow, we will begin Of Mice and Men officially, as a class.  I hope to have at least the first chapter covered before we go to Salinas this Friday.

• Final draft of your story is due on Thursday

English 2 - District Test

A few times a year, the district requires that we test our students on the curriculum that should have been covered in a certain period of time.  Today was one of those days.  We spent most of the period taking a district test that covered what we should have learned so far in this semester.  We'll see how well we do tomorrow, hopefully.  When students finished, most read their Ender's Game book, trying to catch up a little.
